Now that is an incentive to answer that jury summons with eager anticipation. It is very difficult to take the time away from a normal job especially when the job does not cover your pay during the trial and some trials last months but when we hear about our civic duty, we need to take into account what the role of a juror is. Much more powerful than a single vote at the polling booth.

Absolutely. We need to do our jobs better. I just love learning of our history of our country and also learning what our part is and how important it is.
